GETTING READY TO LEARN

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone ! Today I want to share my first topic which is GETTING READY TO LEARN  by Miss Suria . In this chapter,Miss Suria told us that is important subject because from this subject,we can learn how to manage our time,taking lecture notes, can get to know our university more deeply and others. She also talk about differences between university life and school life. Don’t ever expect university life is easy. Before we go to the university,we must be physically and mentally prepared to face all the challenges ahead. For me, university life is a bit difficult because not all lecturers will teach us same like teachers teach at school.We as students, should find for lecturers if we don’t understand any subjects. So, I’ve listed the difference between the university and school to make you understand what i’m trying to convey :

UNIVERSITY	SCHOOL
Spend less time in class	Spend more time in class
Spend more time studying outside	Less time studying outside the class
Not be reminded of due test and exams	Exam date has been set
Less daily task or assignment and sometimes not be checked	Many homework should be sent at the same time
Students should take notes given by lecturers	Teacher provide notes for students
Responsible for your own learning	Teacher will care about their student’s lessons

Last but not least,Miss Suria told us that to continue living in this university,we must be wise to choose a friend who can guide us to succeed,work together doing assignment and invite us to do a good things. We must take seriously about this because we’re far away from parents.Anything can happen if we are not good at controlling ourselves,So,we need to be independent in all things and do not expect others.
